Privacy Policy

The short version: Foxmark does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Your bookmarks and everything about them stay on your devices and in your own iCloud account. We never see them. There is no account, no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising.

What Foxmark stores, and where

Your bookmarks and related data (URLs, titles, notes, tags, folders, summaries, and thumbnails) are stored locally on your device and synced across your Apple devices using Apple iCloud (CloudKit private database). This data lives in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer of Foxmark has no access to it. App settings may sync via Apple's iCloud key-value storage. Nothing is sent to servers operated by Foxmark or any third party.

On-device intelligence

Foxmark's AI features (automatic categorization, tagging, summarization, and semantic search) run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. The contents of your bookmarks are not transmitted to us or to any third party for processing.

Network access

Foxmark connects to the websites you save in order to fetch link previews (title, description, image, favicon) and, optionally, to check whether links are still working. These requests go directly from your device to those websites. Foxmark does not route this activity through our servers.

No tracking, no analytics, no ads

We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, we do not use advertising identifiers or track you across apps or websites, and Foxmark contains no third-party SDKs. We do not collect any data, matching our App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud, you are always in control. You can delete any bookmark, or remove the app and its iCloud data, at any time. You can also export your bookmarks (HTML, Markdown, CSV, or JSON) from within the app.

Children's privacy

Foxmark does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
